The invention relates to a method for producing a road surface layer based on a hydrocarbon cold mix, the method comprising the following steps: a) coating at room temperature in a mixer of a self-propelled machine a mineral solid fraction with a cationic hydrocarbon binder emulsion, water being added to the mixer to make the total water content thereof between 8 ppc and 14 ppc relative to the dry solid mineral fraction to form a hydrocarbon cold mix in which the typical content of the residual anhydrous binder, as described in standard NF P 98-139:2016-12, varies from 3.5 to 6% relative to the weight of the mix after drying; b) applying the hydrocarbon cold mix directly at the output of the mixer of the self-propelled machine to form a layer having a thickness of at least 2 cm; and subsequently c) compacting the layer applied in step b) to form the road surface layer.
Procédé de fabrication d'une couche de revêtement routier à basé d'enrobé hydrocarboné à froid, comprenant les étapes suivantes : a) enrober à température ambiante dans un malaxeur d'une machine automotrice une fraction solide minérale avec une émulsion cationique de liant hydrocarboné, de l'eau est introduite dans le malaxeur en une teneur telle que l'eau totale soit comprise entre 8 ppc et 14 ppc par rapport au poids de la fraction minérale solide sèche pour former un enrobé hydrocarboné à froid dans lequel la teneur en liant anhydre résiduel conventionnelle telle que décrite dans la norme NF P 98-139 :2016-12 varie de 3,5 à 6 %, par rapport au poids de l'enrobé après séchage, b) mise en oeuvre de l'enrobé hydrocarboné à froid directement en sortie du malaxeur de la machine automotrice pour former une couche ayant une épaisseur d'au moins 2 cm, c) puis compactage de la couche mise en oeuvre lors de l'étape b) pour former la couche de revêtement routier.
