A device for strengthening a tower by sheathing it, and a method for strengthening a tower by sheathing it are disclosed. The device comprises a plurality of section faces that can be assembled to form a section able to surround the tower. The section faces comprise a collection of members and crossmembers and are equipped with a securing means for joining two sections together. The method comprises a step of assembling a plurality of faces around the tower to form a section, and a step of assembling sections with one another using a securing means.
Un dispositif de renforcement par doublage pour pylône et un procédé de renforcement par doublage d'un pylône sont présentés. Le dispositif comprend une pluralité de faces de tronçon aptes à être assemblées pour former un tronçon apte à entourer le pylône. Les faces de tronçon comprennent un assemblage de membrures et de traverses et étant équipées d'un moyen de soli- darisation pour fixer entre eux deux tronçons. Le procédé comprend une étape d'assemblage d'une pluralité de faces autour du pylône pour former un tronçon et une étape d'assemblage de tronçons entre eux via un moyen de solidarisation.
