A wall stud is provided. The wall stud (10) comprises an elongated body (12) and at least one flange (14) extending from said body (12) thereby providing a wall stud width (W) being greater than the thickness (T) of the elongated body (12). The body (12) and the at least one flange (14) are made of hardboard.

L'invention concerne un montant de cloison. Le montant (10) de cloison comporte un corps allongé (12) et au moins une aile (14) s'étendant à partir dudit corps (12), donnant ainsi une largeur (W) de montant de cloison qui est plus grande que l'épaisseur (T) du corps allongé (12). Le corps (12) et l'aile ou les ailes (14) sont constitués d'un panneau dur.
