SELF-DISINFECTING SINK DRAINAGE SYSTEM
A self-disinfecting sink drainage system for use with a sink having a main conduit extending from a sink waste outlet of a sink drain to a waste disposal location includes a hollow cylindrical insert and a circumferential sealing element for insertion within a sink main conduit for receiving a throughflow of waste from the sink waste outlet to the waste disposal location, the insert and sealing element forming together with an interior surface of the main conduit an annular chamber sealed at a bottom end and open at a top end, an inflow of a disinfecting liquid through an inlet formed in a sidewall of the main conduit filling the annular chamber so that the liquid overflows into the interior of the insert so as to wet and thus disinfect the interior surface thereof.
L'invention concerne un système de drainage d'évier auto-désinfectant destiné à être utilisé avec un évier comportant un conduit principal s'étendant depuis une sortie de déchets d'évier d'un drainage d'évier vers un emplacement d'élimination de déchets qui comprend un insert cylindrique creux et un élément d'étanchéité circonférentiel destiné à être inséré à l'intérieur d'un conduit principal d'évier pour recevoir un écoulement traversant de déchets de la sortie de déchets d'évier à l'emplacement d'élimination de déchets, l'insert et l'élément d'étanchéité formant conjointement avec une surface intérieure du conduit principal une chambre annulaire scellée au niveau d'une extrémité inférieure et ouverte au niveau d'une extrémité supérieure, un écoulement entrant d'un liquide désinfectant à travers une entrée formée dans une paroi latérale du conduit principal remplissant la chambre annulaire de telle sorte que le liquide déborde à l'intérieur de l'insert de façon à mouiller et à désinfecter ainsi la surface intérieure de celui-ci.
