AUTOMATICALLY RETRACTABLE MARINE LADDER
An automatically retractable marine ladder, and a method of using the ladder. The ladder rotates between a horizontal/resting position, and an angular/in-use position, under at least in part the influence of a force-generating element, such as a cantilever weight, spring, etc. The automatically retractable marine ladder includes a ladder having upper base and lower distal ends; a pair of opposing siderails; and a plurality of treads attached to the opposing siderails; a support tube pivotably attached to at least one of the siderails, the support tube being located closer to the base end than to the distal end, and the support tube being rigidly attached to a fixed element located in or adjacent to a body of water. A force generating element, such as a dock or boat, is associated with the ladder.
L'invention concerne une échelle marine automatiquement rétractable, et un procédé d'utilisation de l'échelle. L'échelle pivote entre une position horizontale/de repos, et une position angulaire/d'utilisation, sous l'influence au moins en partie d'un élément de génération de force, tel qu'un poids en porte-à-faux, un ressort, etc.. L'échelle marine automatiquement rétractable comprend une échelle possédant des extrémités de base supérieure et distale inférieure; une paire de montants latéraux opposés; et une pluralité de barreaux fixés aux montants latéraux opposés; un tube-support fixé pivotant à au moins un des montants latéraux, le tube-support étant situé plus près de l'extrémité de base que de l'extrémité distale, et le tube-support étant fixé de manière rigide à un élément fixe situé dans ou adjacent à un plan d'eau. Un élément de génération de force, tel qu'un quai ou un bateau, est associé à l'échelle.
