ROAD IRREGULARITY ESTIMATION SYSTEM, ROAD IRREGULARITY ESTIMATION METHOD, AND PROBE VEHICLE
The purpose of the present disclosure is to provide a road irregularity estimation system that can improve the accuracy of estimating road irregularities. The road irregularity estimation system according to the present disclosure comprises a road irregularity detection device and a road irregularity estimation device. The road irregularity detection device comprises: a road-related information acquisition unit that acquires road-related information; a host vehicle-related information acquisition unit that acquires host vehicle-related information including location information on a host vehicle; an inspector-related information acquisition unit that acquires inspector-related information including road irregularity determination information indicating whether an inspector has determined that there is a road irregularity or not and information on the line-of-sight direction of the inspector; a control unit that generates probe information in which the road-related information, the host vehicle-related information, and the inspector-related information are associated together; and a probe information transmission unit that transmits the probe information. The road irregularity estimation device comprises: a probe information acquisition unit that acquires the probe information; and a road irregularity estimation unit that estimates, on the basis of the probe information, at least the location of a road irregularity, the type of road irregularity, and a confidence factor for the road irregularity.
