WASTEWATER SEPARATOR AND METHOD OF SEPARATING A FLOW OF WASTEWATER
There is described a wastewater separator for separating a flow of wastewater. The wastewater separator generally has: an axis; an inlet chamber defined around the axis and having a wastewater inlet defining a vortex; an outlet chamber defined around the axis below the inlet chamber and having a solid outlet and a liquid outlet; an annular neck between the inlet chamber and the outlet chamber and defining an opening at a bottom of the inlet chamber, the inlet chamber tapering to the annular neck and the outlet chamber inverse-tapering from the annular neck; and an assembly of angularly inclined fins circumferentially distributed around the axis and axially located between the annular neck and the solid outlet, the angularly inclined fins having an upper edge in fluid communication with a lower portion of the annular neck and a lower edge circumferentially spaced apart from the upper edge along the vortex.
L'invention concerne un séparateur d'eaux usées pour séparer un écoulement d'eaux usées. Le séparateur d'eaux usées comporte généralement un axe ; une chambre d'entrée définie autour de l'axe et comportant une entrée d'eaux usées définissant un vortex ; une chambre de sortie définie autour de l'axe sous la chambre d'entrée et comportant une sortie de solides et une sortie de liquides ; un col annulaire situé entre la chambre d'entrée et la chambre de sortie et définissant une ouverture au fond de la chambre d'entrée, la chambre d'entrée se rétrécissant jusqu'au col annulaire et la chambre de sortie se rétrécissant à l'inverse du col annulaire ; et un ensemble d'ailettes inclinées de manière circonférentielle autour de l'axe et situées dans le sens axial entre le col annulaire et la sortie solide, les ailettes inclinées de manière angulaire comportant un bord supérieur en communication fluidique avec une partie inférieure du col annulaire et un bord inférieur espacé de manière circonférentielle du bord supérieur le long du vortex.
