This barnacle larvae detection device has an image data acquisition unit that acquires image data, and a detection unit that detects barnacle larvae having a prescribed shape from the image data, the detection unit detecting and counting barnacle larvae having the prescribed shape on the basis of a trained model that is constructed using, as training data, image data in which annotations have been assigned to barnacle larvae having at least the prescribed shape.
