VISCOELASTIC SURFACTANT-BASED TREATMENT FLUIDS FOR USE WITH LOST CIRCULATION MATERIALS
Compositions of lost circulation materials and methods for using the same in subterranean formations are provided. In one embodiment, the methods include introducing a treatment fluid into a wellbore penetrating at least a portion of a subterranean formation including a loss zone, the treatment fluid including an aqueous base fluid, at least one viscoelastic surfactant, at least one component selected from the group consisting of: a divalent salt, a metal salt, a metal oxide, and any combination thereof, and a lost circulation material; and allowing the treatment fluid to at least partially plug the loss zone.
L'invention concerne des compositions de matériaux à perte de circulation et des procédés d'utilisation de celles-ci dans des formations souterraines. Dans un mode de réalisation, les procédés consistent à introduire un fluide de traitement dans un puits de forage pénétrant au moins dans une portion d'une formation souterraine comprenant une zone de perte, le fluide de traitement comprenant un fluide de base aqueux, au moins un tensioactif viscoélastique, au moins un composant choisi dans le groupe constitué par : un sel divalent, un sel métallique, un oxyde métallique et toute combinaison de ceux-ci, ainsi qu'un matériau à perte de circulation ; et permettre au fluide de traitement de boucher au moins partiellement la zone de perte.
