Bereitgestellt wird eine Seitentür (1) eines Kraftfahrzeugs, wobei die Seitentür (1) einen Türaußengriff (2) umfasst, der sich ausgehend von der Seitentür (1) in einem Zustand, in dem die Seitentür (1) an dem Kraftfahrzeug angebracht ist, in einer Kraftfahrzeugbreitenrichtung (Y) nach außen und in einer Kraftfahrzeughöhenrichtung (Z) nach oben erstreckt. Der Türaußengriff (2) weist einen Sensor (3) auf, der angeordnet und ausgestaltet ist, um eine sich in einem vorbestimmten Abstand zu und/oder an dem Türaußengriff (2) befindliche Hand zu detektieren.
