The present invention provides a resin composition for decorative sheet, that can produce a decorative sheet that exhibits an excellent scratching resistance, an excellent moist heat resistance, a suppression of whitening, and an excellent inhibition of flame spreading; the present invention also provides a decorative sheet that uses this resin composition. The present invention provides a resin composition for decorative sheet, that is characterized by comprising a (meth)acrylic acid-type copolymer and a metal phosphinate-type compound.
