An electric excavator according to the present invention comprises a lower traveling body and an upper rotating body rotatably coupled to the lower traveling body. The electric excavator is characterized by comprising: a first battery disposed on the lower traveling body; a second battery disposed on the upper rotating body; a travel motor, disposed on the lower traveling body, for moving the lower traveling body; a rotation motor, disposed on the upper rotating body, for rotating the upper rotating body; and a work motor, disposed on the upper rotating body, for operating a front work device that includes a boom and an arm. Power is supplied from the first battery and the second battery to the travel motor, the rotation motor, and the work motor, and the first battery and the second battery are connected in parallel.
