Disclosed is a cofferdam-free reclamation construction method for artificial islands, comprising: arranging an anti-fouling screen at the periphery of an island-making area, and performing reclamation in the island-making area to develop a north sandbank, an east sandbank, a south sandbank and a west sandbank; performing reclamation at an inner side of the north sandbank to expand the width of the top of the sandbank; laying sand covers at inner sides of the east sandbank, the south sandbank and the west sandbank for a first time; performing centralized reclamation at an inner side of a region enclosed by the north sandbank and the sand covers of the east sandbank, the south sandbank and the west sandbank laid for the first time; laying sand covers on top of the sand covers of the east sandbank, the south sandbank and the west sandbank for a second time, and a sand cover cofferdam is jointly formed by the sand covers laid for the first time and the sand covers laid for the second time; performing centralized reclamation at the inner side of the sand cover cofferdam; laying a geotextile and surface protection blocks, throwing in cushion layer stones and bottom protection blocks, and installing fence plates. Thus, not only can the present invention prevent construction at the inner side of the sandbanks from polluting open seas, but same may also provide a nearby stockyard for sand, and the filling of sand filling is also conveniently constructed.
