PARALLEL HERMETIC SEAL AND ASSEMBLY INCLUDING THE SAME
An evacuated glazing assembly having first and second spaced-apart substrates connected to each other by a seal element to form an evacuable interior space therebetween. The seal element is formed by bonding a metallic bridge element to at least one of the substrates with a cold weld. The cold weld includes at least two spaced-apart, highly-hermetic seal elements fabricated simultaneously during bonding on the at least one of the substrates.
L'invention concerne un ensemble vitrage sous vide comprenant des premier et second substrats espacés l'un de l'autre et reliés l'un à l'autre par un élément d'étanchéité pour former entre eux un espace intérieur pouvant être mis sous vide. L'élément d'étanchéité est formé par liaison d'un élément pont métallique à au moins l'un des substrats avec une soudure froide. La soudure froide comprend au moins deux éléments d'étanchéité hautement hermétiques espacés fabriqués simultanément pendant la liaison sur l'au moins un des substrats.
