FAUCET SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DISPENSING NEAR-BOILING WATER
Faucets, faucet systems and related methods of operation for dispensing near-boiling hot water are disclosed herein. In one example embodiment, a faucet configured for dispensing near-boiling hot water includes a main body, a spout extending from the main body, and a first handle supported in relation to the main body. The spout includes a tube and an endpiece coupled at least indirectly to a tube end and including an output port. Also, the endpiece includes a housing coupled at least indirectly to the tube end and a flow straightener coupled at least indirectly to the tube end. An inner diameter of the flow straightener tapers inwardly so as to become smaller along an axial length from the tube end toward the output port. A gap is provided between at least a portion of an outer surface of the flow straightener and an inner surface of the housing.
