Provided herein is a rafter vent. The rafter vent includes a ventilated mat extending along a roof structure, the ventilated mat comprising a plurality of random entangled filaments. The entangled filaments include at least one of polypropylene, nylon six, or combinations thereof. The rafter vent also includes a backing adhered to the ventilated mat along a first surface of the ventilated mat configured to face opposite the roof structure. The ventilated mat includes at least one or more surface features on a second surface, opposite the first surface.
