The oxide contains 3Y2O3 · 5Al2O3, Y2O3 · Al2O3, and 2Y2O3 · Al2O3, and, in relation to the total amount of 3Y2O3 · 5Al2O3, Y2O3 · Al2O3, and 2Y2O3 · Al2O3, the ratio of 2Y2O3 · Al2O3 is 2.0% by mass or less.
