VIBRATION DEVICE WITH INCREASED CLAMPING AND METHOD FOR CLAMPING A FOUNDATION ELEMENT
The invention relates to a vibration device (2) for inserting a foundation element (18) into the ground, the device comprising: - a frame (4) having a frame surface (6) that extends in a plane defined by a first and second direction (X,Y); - a vibrator block (10) that is operatively connected to the frame (4); and - a clamping mechanism (12,14) that is operatively connected to the frame (4) and that is configured to both fixedly clamp a foundation element (18) in a radial direction relative to a central frame axis that extends in a third direction (Z) that is substantially perpendicular to the frame surface (6), and to fixedly clamp the foundation element (18) against the frame (4) by displacing the frame (4) and the foundation element (18) relative to each other in the third direction. The invention further relates to a vibration system, a method for clamping a foundation element (18) with the vibration device and to a method for inserting a foundation element (18) into the ground.
