A COLLAPSIBLE OVERHEAD PROTECTION SYSTEM AND METHOD WITH A PORTABLE POWERBANK
The present invention discloses an overhead protection system with a portable powerbankfor a mobile elevating work platform (MEWP), comprising: a detection unit (100) coupled to a sensor module (102); a warning unit (106c) coupled to the detection unit (100) and responsive to one or more detected overhead objects for conveying a warning to an operator; a wireless transmitter unit (106a) coupled to the detection unit (100) and warning unit (106c) to wirelessly operate the overhead protection system and interrupt the movement of the MEWP when receiving warning from the warning unit (106c); and a portable powerbank coupled to the detection unit (100) for providing prolonged power to the overhead protection system.
