The invention relates to a method comprising: a first phase of introducing a device into a cavity; a second phase in which a traction device pulls a rod and said rod, in its upward movement, drives an actuator and causes the deformation of a deformable element which, upon deforming, fills the section of the cavity and anchors to the ground; a third phase of slowing down the stroke of the rod by the action of a stop; a fourth phase of clamping the rod and exerting downward pressure on a plate; a fifth phase of breaking a bolt and lowering the plate, tightening it against the ground; and a sixth phase of securing the position of the rod.
