The invention relates to a charging system for an electric vehicle (VAE), the system comprising: • a first docking station (1) for an electric vehicle (VAE); • a first element for accessing an electrical charging interface that can be locked by means of a first attachment element; • an electrical terminal distributing power from a first power supply connected to an urban power grid and/or a second power supply connected to a set of solar panels (15); • a communication interface for transmitting locking data from the first access element to an electrical charging interface and power supply activation data; • an electronic terminal (12) for reserving a dock available for attaching an electric vehicle (VAE1), the reservation generating an instruction to unlock the first access element and activate the power supply.
