A modular system for partitioning a space including a ceiling (C), or a false ceiling, and a floor (F), or false floor. The system comprises at least one first upper longitudinal profile (20) which can be operatively coupled with the ceiling (C) or with the false ceiling having a pair of mutually facing side walls (21, 22) and an upper wall (23), the latter and said pair of first side walls (21, 22) cooperating with each other to internally define to internally define at least one first compartment (24) open at the bottom. The system further comprises at least one second lower longitudinal profile (30) which can be operatively coupled with the floor (F) or the false floor, said at least one second lower longitudinal profile (30) being arranged at said at least one first upper longitudinal profile (20). The at least one second lower longitudinal profile (30) includes at least one base element (31; 310) which can be operatively coupled with the floor (F) or false floor and at least one closing element (32; 320) which can be coupled with said at least one base element (31) to define at least one second compartment (34) open at the top. Lastly, the system includes at least one fixed partition wall (1) which includes at least one insulated glazing (10) which be at least partially inserted into said at least one first compartment (24) of said first upper longitudinal profile (20) and which be at least partially inserted into said at least one second compartment (34) of said second lower longitudinal profile (30).

L'invention concerne un système modulaire pour cloisonner un espace comprenant un plafond (C), ou un faux plafond, et un plancher (F), ou un faux plancher. Le système comprend au moins un premier profilé longitudinal supérieur (20) qui peut être accouplé de manière fonctionnelle au plafond (C) ou au faux plafond comportant une paire de parois latérales se faisant mutuellement face (21, 22) et une paroi supérieure (23), cette dernière et ladite paire de premières parois latérales (21, 22) coopérant l'une avec l'autre pour définir intérieurement au moins un premier compartiment (24) ouvert dans le bas.
