SMART HOME CONTROL
Optically switchable devices may be controlled using voice commands. A voice recognition service may be used to interpret an utterance and provide command information to an application. The command information may include an identification of one or more optically switchable devices, along with a command to change a state or mode of the one or more optically switchable devices. Responsive to receiving the command information, the application can provide an output to a command execution service which can execute the command by directly or indirectly controlling the one or more optically switchable devices. An authentication token associated with a user profile may be generated and used for authenticating the voice commands. The voice recognition service may be provided with command parameters that may enable the voice recognition service to recognize a voice command related to the one or more optically switchable devices.
