Responses of Existing Cable Channel Induced by Adjacent Foundation Excavation
With the development of cities, underground transmission cables have become the main method of urban power transmission and distribution. However, cable channels are generally buried at shallow depths and easily affected by building pit excavation. This paper mainly studies the influence of ground unloading caused by foundation pit excavation on the service safety of existing cable channels in cities. In this paper, the theoretical analysis method and three-dimensional numerical simulation method are used to analyze the numerical models of different excavation plane sizes, different excavation depths and different relative positions. The results show that with the foundation pit is excavated, the soil stress balance is broken, and the stratum heaves significantly. Moreover, with increasing the excavation's depth and the plane's size of the foundation, the closer the distance is between the foundation pit and the cable channel. At the same time, the uplift deformation of the cable channel is more significant. Within a certain range, the maximum uplift of the cable channel increases rapidly, with increasing the size of the foundation pit along the axis of the cable channel, and then tends to be stable. The research results can be used to provide some reference for such projects in the future.
