Temperature Sensor Analog Front-End Based on CFOA
In this paper, a current-mode temperature sensor analog front-end (AFE) using one block is proposed. The proposed temperature sensor AFE is implemented based on the current feedback operational amplifier (CFOA). The CFOA supply voltage is $\pm 0.6$ V. The CFOA conveys the input current, which is the LED reverse current, with a current offset equal to 3 $\text{nA}$. The CFOA is loaded with a grounded resistor that provides resistance equal to 250 $\mathrm{k}\Omega$, and it has been achieved and designed using a pseudo-resistor. The proposed CFOA is examined and tested using LTspice based on 90 nm CMOS technology with a supply voltage of $\pm 0.6$ V. The circuit provides a gain equal to 250 $\times 10^{3}\mathrm{V}/\mathrm{A}$. The power consumption of the proposed temperature sensor AFE is 129.03 $\mu \mathrm{W}$.
