Urban Residents' Leverage and Housing Inequality - An empirical research based on CFPS data
The housing system of urban residents has continuously been reformed and the housing conditions have obviously improved, but housing inequality remains a problem, and the factors influencing housing inequality are diversified. This paper, aiming at the problem of housing inequality based on the influential factors of urban residents' leverage, carries an empirical study based on the micro data of China Family Panel Studies (CFPS). Through the PMS test, it is found that for urban household samples in China, the housing quality of households with leverage has significantly improved. Meanwhile, using Logit regression, it shows that the increase in urban residents' leverage ratio in China has also promoted the increase in housing value and housing area.
