Design and Realization of a Half- Duplex Voice Communication over Bluetooth using Noninteger-order Chaotic Maps
The resort to chaotic dynamics while designing communication devices and schemes offers increasingly a promising way to efficiently conceal multimedia data and ensure its security over both wired and wireless networks. Our purpose through this paper is to present an innovative voice half-duplex transmission over Bluetooth implemented on microcontrollers boards of Arduino Mega type and based on the synchronization of fractional-order Fold maps. Two boards acting as the communicating nodes are considered. Each of them includes a recording platform, a ciphering algorithm, a deciphering process and a chaotic generator of fractional-order. This type of dynamics significantly improves the communication security by adding both complexity and secret keys to the encryption process. The adopted synchronization strategy enables, in addition, a two-way alternative communication between the interacting nodes. A series of experimental results are illustrated to better highlight the efficiency of the designed communication.
