Smart Cities Digital transformation and 5G – ICT Architecture
This paper explores the potential of how the capabilities of the emerging Fifth Generation (5G) cellular technologies can be incorporated with the digital transformation of the existing cities to enable the realization of a truly smart city. Based on the go-to-market (GTM) strategy, we propose two 5G-based architectural models that enable a truly congregated new smart cities-ICT infrastructure.
