Baseline Correction Analysis of Luding Seismic Data
In many researches of seismic engineering, low-frequency seismic waves have important effects on bridges, dams, high-rise buildings, etc. However, the existence of various noises leads to baseline drift, which limits the availability of low-frequency signals. In order to obtain high-quality strong motion acceleration records, it is necessary to analyze the impact of various noises on the digital strong motion instrument, and conduct baseline correction analysis on the records to make them conform to the correction criteria. Based on the analysis of the Luding earthquake of magnitude 6.8 on September 5, 2022, and the baseline correction of its strong motion acceleration records, high-quality data including low-frequency seismic waves are finally obtained, and the relationship between its PGD and permanent displacement is explored.
