Air Quality Monitoring in a Smart Campus
This work presents the results of the first stage of the development of a smart campus at the National Polytechnic Institute in Mexico City. The whole campus will have coverage of a LoRaWAN network to connect several types of sensors. The results of the design of campus coverage with the LoRaWAN network and performance measurements of this network using the RSSI and SNIR parameters are presented. The results of the development of an air quality monitoring system based on the use of low-cost sensors are also presented. Finally, the results of the operation of an air quality monitoring node connected to the LoRaWAN network of the smart campus are reported.
