In order to overcome the difficulties faced by urban green space planning in the information age, this paper proposes a novel application method of urban green space planning based on BIM technology. This application strategy fully combines the characteristics of BIM technology to improve the accuracy and feasibility of urban green space planning. Based on this, the application strategy can also fully combine the characteristics of big data technology to improve the sharing of urban green space planning data. The research results show that the application strategy not only enables the innovation and development of the traditional urban green space planning mode, but also can effectively improve the intelligence and scientificity of urban green space planning.
