Research on a Simulation Method for Pumped Storage Power Station Dam Engineering Considering Terrain
With the increasing demand for energy, pumped storage power plants have received widespread attention as a renewable energy storage solution. When designing and constructing dam projects for pumped storage power plants, it is necessary to fully consider terrain factors to ensure the safety and feasibility of the project. Based on this, this study proposes a simulation method for pumped storage power station dam engineering that takes into account terrain. This method emphasizes the terrain characteristics and covers the positioning, geometric construction, volume estimation of the dam body, and thickness estimation of the mountains on both sides of the dam for pumped storage power plants. Finally, a three-dimensional model of the pumped storage power plant dam that meets the requirements was successfully constructed. Provided important technical support for the planning and construction of pumped storage power station dam projects, and made positive contributions to the implementation of renewable energy storage solutions.
