A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Blockchain-inspired Framework for Runtime Verification of IoT Ecosystem Task Fulfillment
As the application of IoT systems becomes more and more widespread, the increasing complexity of modern hardware and software platform along with the imperative assurance on stability deems runtime verification of task fulfillment necessary in IoT ecosystems. Nevertheless, distributing the burden of a central verification monitor to individual devices could improve the efficiency. To achieve the decentralized runtime verification, this work investigates and incorporates some of the mechanisms of blockchain technology into IoT ecosystems for locating the accountability when error occurs.
