Numerical simulation of concrete retaining blocks for bridge based on ABAQUS
In order to deeply study the functional feasibility and seismic performance of the new prefabricated retaining wall, the finite element models of different retaining walls are established and compared with the test results. The effects of structural materials and structural forms on the seismic failure mode of retaining wall are discussed. The results show that the established finite element numerical model can well simulate the damage state of different types of concrete blocks in laboratory tests. The new post tensioned unbonded precast UHPC block can meet the requirements of higher lateral bearing capacity, displacement capacity and self resetting capacity at the same time.
