Site Selection and Optimization Based on GIS for Old People's Homes in Urban Area of Kunming City
Abstract: With aging of population and increasing of aged population of Kunming City, to meet the increasing endowment service needs of old people, government encourages social forces to construct endowment service institutions for old people, which definitely involves with site selection problems of old people’s homes. This paper employs AHP methodology to analyze and determine the weight of impact factors of site selection for old people’s homes in Kunming City and carries out spatial analysis on the impact factors based on GIS to clearly and visually solve the problems of site selection and optimization for old people’s homes in Kunming City.
