Numerical simulation analysis of the construction process of a large-span variable-section tunnel
Based on the engineering practice of excavation section transformation, aiming at the characteristics of the large excavation section of the Qiaopingshan Tunnel, the complicated technology of removing the vertical support, and the inability to implement forepoling, the transition section is set at the position of the variable section, and the improved three-step temporary invert method is used to ensure the normal construction of the tunnel. Using the finite element numerical simulation method, the distribution law of surrounding rock displacement and stress during the whole process of excavation and support construction from the ordinary section of the tunnel to the large section is analysed and obtained. The results show that during the construction process, the soil displacement and stress are within its controllable range.
