Fall Prevention Technique Through IOT Technology with Occupational Safety in Infrastructure Projects
Construction safety is an important issue in developing countries and is essential due to the increasing number of construction projects. Building Information Modelling (BIM) and modern digital technologies can improve worker safety in the construction industry. However, many constraints hinder construction safety due to the lack of a skilled workforce, limited resources and budget, and other challenges. This paper investigates the constraints of construction safety within BIM and Internet of Things (OIT), modern digital technologies in developing countries. A structural equation modelling approach is used to examine the significance of the constraints, such as cost, labour, training, and infrastructure. The results of this research will help identify the factors that hinder construction safety in developing countries and could assist policymakers, designers, contractors, and other stakeholders in developing effective strategies to improve worker safety in the construction industry.
