A Geospatial HR Framework to enhance Employee Experience
Radical advances have been made in the field of satellite/Geospatial technology and we are beginning to see the use and importance of it in various spheres. Organizations that can take advantage of the usage of geospatial data, will have the capability to take key strategic decisions, which in turn would enhance organizational effectiveness. The progress, development and sophistication of geospatial technology will open up many unexplored doors and new possibilities for human resource professionals. It will enable them to view Human resource Practices in a different light. A critical success factor to this, is corelation of data through geospatial technology that can both visualize and comprehend, so as to convert raw satellite images for meaningful interpretation and its use in the field of Human resources. In effect, it is the confluence of computing power, Artificial intelligence and satellite imagery. This paper reviews the application of geospatial technology and how this will help uncover opportunities and add value to Human Capital Management. In addition, this paper proposes a suggestive model which would provide informative insights on how this technology could be leveraged upon for future research within the realms of Human Resource Management.
