Risk Assessment in Tunnel Portal Based on Fuzzy AHP Comprehensive Evaluation
This study proposes a new damage classification criterion to classify and quantify tunnel damage. The factors influencing damage of tunnels are studied and discussed, including ground level, excavation width, overburden depth, bias pressure, adverse geology, ground water, the technology level and management level of construction units. Risk assessment of tunnels is important for an effective disaster management plan. A risk-based assessment technique is proposed as a way to quantify the risk of tunnels. The efficacy of the proposed method is illustrated using data from the MaAnShan tunnel.
