DDA Analysis of Long-Term Stability of Left Abutment Slope of Jinping I Hydropower Station
The left abutment slope of Jinping I hydropower station has an large excavation height. Meanwhile, the faults and joints in the slope rock mass are developed. The long-term stability of the slope has an important influence on the normal operation of the hydropower station. In this paper, the creep constitutive model describing the "stress-strain-time" relationship of rock mass is combined with the discontinuous deformation analysis (DDA) method, and the DDA based creep simulation method for jointed rock mass is proposed. Based on the monitoring data of the project, the extended DDA program is used to carry out the back analysis of the creep parameters i of slope operation. Based on the inversion results and considering the changes of boundary conditions, the long-term deformation of slope is simulated and predicted.
