Models for Calculating the Pavement Condition Index
The dependencies for calculating the pavement condition index based on monitoring data collected by mobile complexes for the multi-criteria assessment of the operational condition of street and road network objects “ADS-MADI” are presented. The necessity of considering environmental factors, properties of pavement materials, quality and timing of repair and rehabilitation works, sufficiency of financing volumes when estimating the pavement condition index and forecasting the remaining service life of the pavement has been substantiated. The results of visualization of the monitoring of the Moscow city street and road network objects in 2019–2020 are given in the form of diagrams and on the “heat map”. The resulting pavement condition index values can be used to assess pavement conditions, predict the time required for maintenance and repair activities, and estimate future funding needs.
