Educational Buildings in Romania - Survey of Existing Lighting Systems
Educational buildings (schools and universities) in Romania were equipped in time with several types of luminaires and now most of them are using fluorescent lamps, simple switches and using the same room position from the building completion. During time, lighting norms changed and since 2003 the European norm EN 12464-1 it is used. There is no study on the existing situation of lighting parameters in educational buildings in Romania and this paper is presenting the results of a survey in several schools in Romania and compares the measured results with recommended values. The paper is the base on a study regarding possible measures for energy efficiency.
