Intelligent 3D Printing Technology in Architectural Design
With the rapid development of the construction industry, the application of 3D (three-dimensional) printing technology in the field of architectural design is increasing. 3D printing technology has received widespread attention due to its advantages in 3D solid modeling and stereoscopic effects. This article provided a detailed introduction to intelligent 3D printing technology and explored the process of building modeling by combining BIM (computer, sensor network) models with traditional two-dimensional graphic design methods. Secondly, the role of this scheme in building model construction and indoor testing stages was analyzed, and how to use building simulation software to achieve physical geometric dimension measurement in building design was explained. Afterwards, this article designed an intelligent 3D printing model and tested its application performance in architectural design. The test results showed that the technology had a printing fit of 0.84 or above, and the surface smoothness printed was also above 0.91; the test result on printing speed was 3-4m/s, and the printing fluidity was between 0.5 and 0.64; the printing consistency was 93% -97%, and the shrinkage rate was 3 % or less. This indicated that the printing effect of this technology is highly consistent with the actual object, but there is still room for improvement. Compared to traditional construction methods, intelligent 3D printing technology can significantly reduce the construction time and resource consumption of construction projects. It can avoid a large amount of human labor, reduce waste and errors, improve construction efficiency, and have the potential to reduce construction costs.
