A type of base-station antennas used in MIMO mobile communication systems
MIMO (multiple-input multiple-output) systems have been widely used in the new generation mobile communications because of their large capability, high speed and low code errors. Transmitting and receiving antenna systems are the very important parts of the whole systems. And their designs will directly affect MIMO system's performance. In this paper, a type of printed-dipole antennas is introduced. The theoretical designs and practical testing show that this type of antennas can make full use of space and frequency resources and it is fit for MIMO spatial diversity antenna systems.
