A novel watermarking scheme for 2D vector CAD drawings based on blind source separation
This paper proposed a novel watermarking scheme for 2D vector CAD drawings based on blind source separation (BSS). Little research has been conducted in watermarking such drawings. In the scheme, watermark is embedded both into the line entities and circle/arc entities ,which increased the capacity of watermark. Shape distortions is avoided by keeping the topological structures of drawing unchanged. By means of FASTICA technique watermark can be extracted without the original drawings. Experimental results demonstrate the proposed watermarking scheme is almost completely robust to rotate, scale, transplant (RST) as well as their combinations, and also strong enough to cropping attacks.
