Artificial Intelligence Based Logistics Client Service System
The lack of a methodical and intelligent system in the public agencies leads to many issues causing delay, overcrowding, inefficiency and long queuing in the establishment affecting the clients and the employees. Over-crowding and long queues contribute in increasing the risk of spreading air-borne diseases like COVID-19. Moreover, using a lot of paper tickets in the visitor management system has an environmental impact. The goal of this research paper is to design a face recognition based logistics customer service system that will help in achieving maximum client satisfaction in terms of convenience, timing and efficiency. The system makes use of artificial intelligence to identify the client using face recognition techniques and directs the client to the designated employee and also provides the required data. The system will also open the transaction on the employee's device and will send an SMS to the client to let him know the estimated time of waiting and the number of people in the queue. The proposed device is based on a Microprocessor, a camera, an LCD display, database management system and a GSM module. The device is implemented and tested with very good results.
