this article presents the assessment of smart city conpcet's energy efficiency awareness through sustainable development standards. Then, we present an evaluation of the concepts of smart city, through these matrices with special focus on energy efficiency. The article underlines also the importance of the inclusion in the city transition to a smart city, through direct and indirect, citizens involvements in the investment and appropriation of the city transformation process.
