Numerical Simulation of Flow Resistance Characteristics of Flow Limiting Orifice
With simple structure and low manufacturing cost, flow limiting orifice is widely used in practical industrial production activities to replace regulating valve to limit flow or reduce pressure. In order to deeply research the interior flowing resistance properties of the pipeline with flowing limiting orifice, the flowing resistance properties of the pipe with flow limiting orifice are numerically simulated with natural gas as the medium. By analyzing the influence law of different orifice diameter, pipe inner diameter and flow on the internal flow resistance of the pipeline, it is found that the orifice diameter and pipe diameter have a significant influence on the resistance coefficient, the gas flow has basically no influence, the orifice diameter and the resistance coefficient show a negative correlation, while the pipe diameter and the resistance coefficient show a positive correlation, At the same time, large diameter and small diameter have smaller impact on the local resistance coefficient, and the coefficient of local resistance tends to be stable. The study provides a reference for the selection and design of orifice plate of gas fuel delivery system in industrial production.
