This paper looks at Amberley Museum's insight into Britain's industrial heritage. Amberley Museum was founded in 1979 to preserve, record and exhibit the rapidly disappearing industrial heritage of the South East. Formed on the site of the Amberley Chalk Pits, it is an open-air museum which is also home to a number of self-employed craftspeople.
