Low-Temperature-Tar Content of Bituminous Materials. Part 2: Dense Tarmacadam Basecourse with Crushed Rock Aggregate
This report describes a laboratory study, using the Marshall Test procedure, of dense tarmacadam basecourse made with entirely crushed rock aggregate and road tars of both low- and high-temperature carbonization sources, i.e. of low and high densities, with the object of establishing the appropriate content (by mass) of low temperature tar.
